First visit
A patient's first visit to our practice represents a moment of fundamental importance.
It’s not just a simple collection of clinical data, but a meeting where the foundation is laid for building a strong and lasting relationship between the patient and the specialist.
Establishing a climate of empathy, attentive listening, and mutual trust right from the start is essential to ensure that the patient feels welcomed, understood, and actively involved in their care journey.
From a medical standpoint, this initial phase is equally crucial. Through a thorough medical history, a careful assessment of the patient’s overall health, and attentive listening to their personal needs, it becomes possible to develop a complete and detailed picture of the clinical situation.
This approach allows for the precise identification of the most suitable treatment, fully personalized and aimed at achieving the best possible results in terms of health, well-being, and quality of life.
Knowing the health of your mouth is essential not only for aesthetic reasons but, more importantly, to ensure proper chewing function and prevent the onset of dental issues.
A thorough check-up allows for the early detection of cavities, gingivitis, or other oral health issues, often linked to poor hygiene or prolonged neglect. Timely intervention helps prevent complications and more invasive treatments in the future.
In the case of a first visit, the initial approach will be mainly conversational: the professional will take the time to personally get to know the patient, establishing a calm and open dialogue that can lead to a targeted and personalized treatment plan.
This moment of discussion is essential for thoroughly understanding the patient’s expectations, specific needs, and any relevant medical history, so that we can collaboratively build an effective treatment plan that respects their individuality.
Studio Dentistico Gentilini is able to perform, if necessary, all radiographic exams and functional and aesthetic analyses during the first visit, ensuring a thorough check-up for every need.
Most people tend to visit the dentist only when they experience pain or persistent discomfort.
Unfortunately, this behavior often indicates that an inflammation, cavity, or other oral health issue is already in an advanced stage.
Intervening only when symptoms are present can lead to more complex, invasive, and costly treatments, as well as a negative impact on overall well-being.
It is strongly recommended to undergo regular check-up visits, ideally every six months.
These regular appointments allow the professional to consistently monitor the patient's oral health, identifying any potential issues early on and intervening promptly.
Prevention is indeed the most effective way to maintain oral health, avoiding complications and ensuring a healthy, lasting smile over time.
Our iter

Initial analysis
During the first meeting, we welcome the patient into a space dedicated to listening, where we gather detailed information about their general health, habits, medical history, and any dental issues. This is followed by a thorough clinical evaluation, including a visual examination of the oral cavity, supported by radiographs (intraoral, panoramic), CT scans, and intraoral scans.

Feasibility study
Once the clinical data is collected, we create a feasibility study to identify the most suitable therapeutic options. We evaluate factors such as anatomical condition, general health, chewing function, and the patient's expectations. Thanks to digital technology, the patient can view a 3D simulation of the final result. This tool helps the patient better understand the treatment plan and experience it with greater awareness and confidence.

Personalized therapy and care
At the end of the diagnostic process, we present the patient with a personalized treatment plan, tailored to their clinical and personal needs. Each therapeutic path is clearly explained, accompanied by a transparent estimate and a detailed schedule of the operational stages and treatment timeline.
